ADVENTURE STUDIO GUIDE – Middle School Ages 11-14
Full-Time (36 weeks) – Salary + Benefits
(Application Deadline March 1, 2026)
Acton Academy Oshkosh is seeking an Adventure Studio Guide to work alongside middle school learners in a learner-driven environment built on trust, responsibility, and real-world work. This is not a traditional teaching role—it is a coaching, mentoring, and learning-design position.
Guides facilitate thoughtful dialogue, design meaningful projects, and support learners as they take ownership of their work, their community, and their growth. This full-time role is ideal for someone who values curiosity, effort, and independence—and wants to grow alongside learners in a deeply human learning environment.
OPERATIONS & STUDIO COORDINATOR
Part-Time or Full-Time (Flexible)
Acton Academy Oshkosh is hiring an Operations & Studio Coordinator to support the daily rhythm of the school and carry projects from plan to completion. This role works closely with the Director, supports studio needs, and helps ensure systems across the school run smoothly.
The Coordinator enjoys both organization and people, is comfortable working around children, and may occasionally support or step into studios as needed. Schedule and scope may be shaped around the strengths and availability of the right person.
AFTER CARE GUIDE (Part-Time, Ongoing)
Monday – Friday, 3:00––5:30pm, $18 an hour
We are always interested in connecting with caring, dependable adults to support our After Care program. After Care Guides oversee afternoon play, games, and snack time while helping create a calm, safe, and welcoming environment for learners. This part-time role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children and wants meaningful, consistent afternoon work in a mission-driven school community. We are looking for adults with availability on some or all M-F afternoons.
SUBSTITUTE GUIDE (As Needed)
Support studios as needed while learning more about learner-driven education. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children and wants hands-on experience in a thoughtful school community.
