Explore Acton: Open Houses & Info Sessions

Curious about Acton Academy Oshkosh? Start here!

Whether just beginning to explore Acton Academy Oshkosh or simply curious about our learner-driven model, Info Sessions and Open Houses are designed as low-pressure ways to experience our community, ask questions, and decide if it’s worth going deeper.

Both events take place outside of the school day and are open to interested families and community members.

OPEN HOUSES – Explore the space. Feel the culture. Follow the clues.

Open houses are relaxed, self-guided experiences designed for families who want to explore our learning environment at their own pace. Open houses are ideal for families who want to see the building, feel the energy, and get a sense of how learners shape their environment.

During an Open House:

  • Guests move through the building using a self-guided scavenger hunt

  • Learner-created spaces and studio environments are on display

  • A few current learners and parents are available to share their experiences

  • The Director is present to answer questions

INFO SESSIONS – Learn how Acton works—by hearing from the people living it.

Info sessions offer a more structured introduction to Acton Academy Oshkosh and are designed for families who want a deeper understanding of our program and philosophy. Info sessions are ideal for families who are asking, “Could this be the right fit for our child and family?”

During an Info Session:

Families attend a presentation explaining our learner-driven model, guests hear from a panel of current learners, veteran parents are available to share their family’s journey, and families have time to tour the school and ask questions.
