Mr. Andre is an artist, designer, educator, and wizard in training! He joined our Acton Academy Oshkosh family as a Lead Guide in 2023. Prior to his Guide journey, Mr. Andre worked at the Oshkosh YMCA as a Lead Early Childhood Teacher and previously held positions as an Autism Behavioral Therapist and Art Specialist teaching children grades 3rd-5th.

A native of New Jersey, Mr. Andre has lived in Arizona, Wisconsin, and California where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design from the Beverly Hills Design Institute. As an active artist he specializes in illustration (especially Disney characters) and graphic design and he has a deep passion for magic, wonder, food, and all forms of fiction.

Mr. Andre attended Hogwarts School for Wizardry, is a passionate chess player, and children that work with Mr. Andre share that “he is so fun and silly.” Learners at Acton love Mr. Andre’s honest, joyful, and playful energy and we are grateful to have his light part of our team.

When asked about Acton Mr. Andre shared, “Being part of Acton has completely opened my cranium to how much potential and creativity Acton offers. I love being part of Acton’s mission and going on the journey as we all dream. I’m excited to work at Acton and experience this special way of learning and guiding.” We are thrilled to play with Mr. Andre every day and are grateful for the magic he brings to Acton!
