Ms. Cece, Discovery Guide
Ms. Cece is no stranger to Oshkosh and earned her Bachelor degree in Early Childhood Education from University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. Prior to joining Acton in 2022, Ms. Cece taught Kindergarten, 3rd grade, and worked with early learners at University of Wisconsin Oshkosh’s Children’s Learning and Care Center. She shared “I am so excited to be part of Acton because of its core values. I firmly believe we all have our own journey we lead in life and Acton is part of mine as a human being and educator. The things that excite me the most about Acton are the building of critical thinking and practical life skills and the process of empowering children to lead their learning and have agency.”
As with every hire, Discovery learners were involved in the hiring of Ms. Cece and we are fortunate to have her daily rainbow and sunshine energy as well as her supreme game-making skills to guide learners.
In addition to her Guide role, Ms. Cece is bilingual in English and Spanish and loves to travel and learn about other cultures. Her lifelong learner passions are dancing, yoga, visual art, hiking, camping, fashion, reading, and cooking and baking. We can certainly attest to her pie making skills!
