Ms. Lynnette has a deep passion for children and loves to learn! When meeting her, Acton learners shared that she is silly, kind, and fun! Ms. Lynnette joined our Acton team in 2023 after spending four years at Oshkosh’s YMCA ChildCare Center where she taught every age level from birth to 5. When sharing about her Acton Academy Oshkosh journey she explained “I just kept wondering what are these little people about; I love the wonder and curiosity of their little minds!”

Ms. Lynnette has additional experience teaching at Arts for Kids and for the United Migrant Opportunity Services organization. She attended UW Oshkosh for Elementary Education with minors in Science and Bilingual/ESL Education. She also spent time abroad studying Shakespeare and English in England.

Ms. Lynnette is beautifully curious and has a passion for language and science. As a Mexican-American her native tongue is Spanish and English and recently she has learned Portuguese, American Sign Language and is exploring French as a life-long learner!

When sharing her love for chemistry and everything science she excitedly shared “I just always want to make things go BOOM! I have to see what happens!” In her spare time she loves to stay active as a gardener, hiker, and outdoor enthusiast, especially with her dog Azula who has a blue tongue!
